I have never and will never block anyone for any reason...ever.

Blocking is ALMOST always used to quiet differing opinion. It should be used on bullies and stalkers, but they are very rare. I have only seen ONE actual incident of bullying since I have been here. Blocking is for closed minded cowards.

4. I'm not one of those people who blocks because of differing opinions. I had a legitimate reason to block each person that I've blocked.

I never used to block anyone until a couple individuals who blocked me, UNblocked me and replied to a comment I made. When I went to reply they had me blocked again.

It was a drive by sniping ~ kinda-sorta

Since then, if someone blocks me. I return the favor

The only reason I did was because they were verbally abusive and calling me everything but a white woman. I won't put up with that. If they disagree in a decent way, then fine. But when the abuse starts, it's going to stop and it's going to stop right now.

No. I'm an animal lover and always have been. I get along with some animals better than most people I know. My friends have a Golden Retriever who I've known since she was a pup. She's big now, but still sits on my lap every chance she gets. And some residents at work have cats. They're sweethearts.

That would be difficult to determine; as you would have to know who Blocked you. Someone could actually be Blocking you as you are reading this right now. You will know when someone has you Blocked because you won't be able to respond to their Blogs and stuff.

Actually, the page jumped when I clicked the mouse. I actually have blocked 3. However, although I do feel guilty over two of those, I consider one of those blocked by myself[...]the one justified block that I have done. I have blocked no one since and probably won't block anyone again.

I've chosen not to use the block feature. If I did block for the reasons many on SH do, I'd definitely be in the "10+" category.

I have never blocked anyone and have no intention of ever blocking anyone. I don't believe individual blocking is neccessary. There, is a flagging facility that would be an effective means of reporting harassment and bullying. I would hazard a guess that some ninety per cent of all blocks are down to differences of opinion and these blockers usually turn out to be total morons, who are pushing an agenda not conducive to fair participation on this site.
