As I had predicted it clouded up shortly before noon and remained that way for most of the afternoon. Very exciting. I told my wife more exciting than watching paint dry. lol
Is that all there was to see? A tiny dark spot in front of the sun? How in the world could anybody see that? That would require a special sun-viewing telescope, to see?
I was looking forward to since I heard about it a few months ago. Unfortunately, clouds blocked my view all day. And then it was clear at night when I could no longer see the transit. I was highly upset by this.
It was also my friend's birthday, I told him Venus came to celebrate.
Anyway, yes, I did see it, and photographed it as well. It was a bit cloudy, but just enough to let me photograph it better. Very fortunate:
