I can swear, fluently in over 20. If I'm in an area that only speaks the language, within a month I can speak passable Spanish, German, or Japanese.

I only know English. However at school (and in my time) I know at least basic level for the following: Spanish, French, Japanese. I also did Chinese and Arabic but I can't remember much. As well as French and Japanese (which are ongoing at the moment while Id ropped Spanish at basic) Inam learning Finnish. For fun. Lol.

no i know how to speak the other languages but in some i cant write but i know them and by fully i mean i can speak , read , write ext

Ah! Makes sense then :) My dad is the same. Fluent speaker in Arabic but didn't learn how to write it. Caused him some problems in Saudi until he found his friend who could write Arabic but not speak it! XD

He still can't write it but his friend signed his bank statements for him, ect. In the middle east they didn't believe he couldn't write it because of the important of the Qur-an.

Bits and pieces here and there, only verbally. My dad didnt really want us to learn it (never told us why) but he speaks to his family in Arabic so me ad my brothers picked up some of it.

I've been told that I speak English quite well. Being a teenager in today's society however...Lolz. JK. Anyways. English, some Spanish, a bit of Japanese, a couple of words of Chinese, and three words of French. I'm such a linguist.
