How do you see the future of libraries?

	The library is one of our great institutions, a national treasure. It's a place of wonder for the child, a place of learning for the student, a place of worship for the reader. Nothing should change, not least the Law of Silence.
	The library is important but it must change with the times and learn to pay its own way. It should be a place where people come to read, to get expert advice, to share, to discuss, to buy, to relax. Something like a Garden Center.
	We need the library but not bricks and mortar. Everything can be managed online, without the constraints of shelf-space. Let people borrow from a virtual library, take expert advice from virtual librarians. We need the library equivalent of Amazon.
	The library is an anachronism, which should be allowed to wither and die. Project Gutenberg provides all the classics, Google and Wikipedia provides the reference material, and Amazon takes care of the rest. It's all about market forces.
