I like them hot. Most people don't like my salsa. I have made a few batches that were volcanic, but I think if they're too hot, the flavor of the food is rubbed out by the spiciness. Might as well just eat the peppers then.

Hotter is better, but it also must be thick and not runny like some restaurants make theirs to make it go farther. And how about some chips to match the hearty salsa? Sturdy chips are much better to go along with it.
