I have a pretty nice black eye and swelling starting.

i'd say put cold stuff on it (a bag of frozen peas is good, because it's like a lot of little tiny ice-cubes ...); i also say drink lots of liquids, to help thin-out the discoloration ... um ... make-up, maybe?

how the heck did you get a black eye?

I've had more than my share of black eyes, there is no way to get rid of one fast but to slow down the swelling, use ice.
Don't fall for his line of BS, press charges and don't drop them.

Yeah but it's swollen so it just looks like a skin colored giant lump on my face with make up. Lol.

I've been keeping a bag of frozen veggies on it lol and I tried make up but it's swollen so it just looks more obvious. And honestly I got it in a very upsetting situation my bf hit me.

the police are there for a reason ... you should consider yourself lucky, if you haven't had to call them before ... but seriously: if the "bf" did this, he might not be very happy to have you dump him - guys who get violent are pretty unstable and have weird ideas about "owning" you ... you can maybe get a restraining order in which a court tells him that he has to stay away from you and if he doesn't he can go to jail ... tell your parents? tell HIS parents?

This isn't the first incident. But it is the last. And he doesn't know where im staying at and neither of us are in contact with our parents. I'm sure I'll be fine. But thanks. The 'owning you' thing you mentiond is One of his problems.

Lol I dropped out awhile ago I haven't update my profile in a long time I just got back on the site recently. Not like dropping out is better. And my parents would prefer not to speak to me.

well i'm a parent ... we don;t always like what our kids do but we always love our kids ... some parents make it harder on their kids than others do ... you might be surprised at their response to you ... you could maybe even say something like "you were right about [insert name of fcuked former bf here] and i'm sorry i didnt listen to you" ... they'd probably LOVE that!!! ha ha ha!!! seriously - if that's how you feel, they'd love hearing about that from you ... parents want their kids to be OK and want to know that the kids are learning ...

Maybe. But I highly doupt it. My father and me will never speak and my mother got rid of me for a man. Your a good parent obviously I wish you were mine lol.

thanks, by the way ... i feel really lucky to be a dad ... my dad and i didn't always get along perfectly, but things got better over time and we always loved each other and if he were still alive it would be great ...
