How do we feel about mexicans?

What kind of question is this? Who are we? and Mexicans are all kinds of people, hard working and not, good and evil, intelegent and not, multilingual and some only speak English.

They are hard workers but a lot of them are limited in speaking English.

Too limited on options. I am of Mexican descent on mom's side, but she came in legally and married my dad, and learned English. I have met plenty who had serious issues with US "used to be Mexico" scenario, and others who were not nice people like cholos and more. They few I met who were nice, well, were just nice because of who they are and not from where they are from.

This is a hard time for Mexicans in America. Personally, my interactions with Mexicans have been very positive. I love Mexican culture which is very rich. As with any peoples there are good Mexicans and bad Mexicans. It has little to do with nationality and much to do with human nature.

Mexicans are the rightful owners of the land due to the dark history of America. We pretty much stole it and swindled the Mexicans/Native Americans from their land and drove them back. The same land where they have a special spiritual connection with. Why did this happened?



Because of the Democratic belief of the Manifest Destiny.



Manifest Destiny is the American belief that Anglo Saxon Americans has a GOD GIVEN RIGHT to expand their territory. That means driving back people from the land they have a spiritual connection with into the land we now know as Mexico...



Now we are pissed off because they are jumping back into the same land that we stole from them... Greedy America... Consume, Consume, Consume...

Manifest destiny ( modern coined term) is belief of all nations that possess the power of their age to conquer and expand at any cost. Mexicans are not anymore the owner of any land of the US as are the Italians of Egypt when it was a conquered part of the Roman Empire. If the US is one day conquered by China, then it'll be China West. That's the way the world has always been even it's wrong, that's how it's been. Will it ever change? I dunno, ask Tibet.
Maybe, if ALL peoples stop being hungry for power at any cost, maybe it will.
But I'm not holding my breath.

If that is the case, then why are we interfering with the Israeli and Palestinian conflict... Let them duke it out. Battle Royal... winner takes everything and loser wanders Europe...

That's easy. Money and power, like I stated in my above previous post.

I have just a few comments. I did not steal anything from anyone. People use to live in caves, things change. We are pissed because it is bankrupting us. My grandfather came here from Europe legally his mother and brother came later, legally. So many people can be here and have no problem that’s why they allow so many at a time. When you come here to many at a time it throws everything off balance, that is where we are today and it's getting worse. I understand what you are trying to say and I did not pay attention in history class, but I'm not so sure it was Mexicans who this land "belonged" to I believe there are differing stories. Where did the "American Indians" come from? I do believe everyone can live together but it has to be done in an orderly fashion so that we can all LIVE and thrive in this country together.

I totally agree. I am not saying that I am for allowing illegal immigrants, but I am for less difficult means of allowing people to become immigrants. Instead of deporting Illegal Immigrants back into their country, I say we hold them accountable in this country until they get the correct documents in order to become full citizens. There are many reasons as to why there are illegal immigrants. A lot of people are just trying to look for work or escape a violent life. Sending them back into the country is throwing them back into the lions den.

Yes I know that our ancestors took the land from them, not us. Some people's ancestors are immigrants themselves!


This nation was built on the backs of slaves and immigrants... who knows, maybe the Mexican Immigrants would probably help us out of the rut we are in now.

They need to learn English. Some foreign countries requires English class as mandatory. If you travel overseas and need assistance they will speak to you in English. I am saying this not just to Mexicans but other nationalities too. Be loyal to this country if you plan to live and die in this country. Be loyal to this country if you plan to raise a family in the US. You chosed to immigrate, respect our constitution.

Mexicans are AWESOME. They're funny, fun to hang out with, party like rock stars, and they make great friends.

my daughter in law is hispanic and in the Marines she has been to Afghanistan 2 times to make sure we have our freedom. And 3of my grand babies are half hispanic

Generally, most Hispanics are cool, BUT I put them in the category of minorities, as a lot whites see blacks as being the same, and minorities such as Asians, Hispanics, etc, are ignorant and just see blacks as society makes them, I meat a lot of cool Hispanics who are racist, and because I can chat well, I've even had some, express how they see blacks, and its really just them not knowing and stereotyping, due to their surroundings and mainly their relatives.
