Today U.S. citizens across the country will wake up, drive or walk to their assigned polling locations, likely wait in line, and then vote for president. Some will vote using voting machines, pulling the lever and all, some will use some new electronic voting systems, and some use paper ballots.

    I voted early and wanted a paper ballot but my Denton Co precinct was already out. So I had to use a machine. And the machine only wanted me to vote in Spanish. Four times I went through the protocol. Make me wonder how accurate these machines are.

    In Oregon, we mail our ballots in or drop them in a drop box at the Public Services Buildings.

    My vote didn't count the last election, but I made sure it did this election. I was very excited to do so because of the challenges we face ahead in this Country.

    Here, in NYC they are letting us vote at any polling place since many of the regular one's are closed, but then you must use a paper ballot.

    There was problems with the only two machines at my district. The machines had to be opened so people could put their paper ballots in.

    An absentee ballot in California is when you are living away from your primary residence. I am a permanent resident mail in voter and have been for years.

    I voted early, I voted on a paper ballot, I don't trust electronic ballots, they can be rigged, they can make mistakes and the votes can vanish... this way if there is a recount, there is SOMETHING to count.

    I know, but i don't like the sound of Absentee, sounds like your absent of something, and i wasn't, Lol.
    So I just said Mail in, but actually I went down to my City Hall building and hand delivered it to them the same day I got it in the mail.
    So your right, I just don't agree with the whole absentee label because i did go to the place people are voting today to turn it in.
    Semantics I guess, Ha!
