Cooler shirts! Hot Topic is Gen Y. Spencers is Gen X. That and All Spencers has is cool posters of hot ladies and lava lamps.

Really only because the hot topic near me has cuter workers. The only real difference between the two is hot topic is highschoolers and Spencer's is for the same crowd once they hit collage.

Spencer's doesn't really have things that I want, the only time I might stop in there is to look at what posters they have
I like to go to Hot Topic tho 'cause they have cute things and also Pop Rocks.
I like Pop Rocks. ._.

I also don't give a flying turd whether or not they're both mainstream, if there's something I want there, I'll go there.
