Here's a tip, to get the ,°, symbol on a Windows PC, hold down the ALT key & press 0176 on the numeric keypad on a keyboard, use Character Map on Mac & Ubuntu.
Ummm....look at the picture that the poster put up at the top. That news station made a mistake and typed 458 degrees at the bottom left side of the tv screen.
It'll work on a regular keyboard, compact ones and many laptops won't (my HP lappie has a full keyboard and this works). Use the grey keys on the right, NOT the ones (with symbols) above the alphabet keys. Press [Start] ►Accessories ►System Tools ►Character Map, pin it to the Taskbar for quick access & use it for the accents and assorted oddball characters. On some, a keyboard shortcut using the numeric pad I've mentioned will be in the bottom right corner, memorize or mark down the ones you use often. é ç ¿ à Ü í … ° — You can plug in a USB keyboard into your device to give it this ability too.
