Horoscope dates changed and a new 13th sign?

Astronomer Parke Kunkle says that due to changes in the Earth's alignment the dates of many zodiac signs have changed, according to NBC. In addition, there may be a 13th Zodiac sign: Ophiuchus.


Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11
Pisces: March 11-April 18
Aries: April 18-May 13
Taurus: May 13-June 21
Gemini: June 21-July 20
Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10
Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16
Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30
Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23
Scorpio: Nov. 23-Dec. 17
Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20

    Astrology doesn't change and there will be no new sign as simple as that.
    The formation now represents a disc with symbols and rhythms (Planetary periods) running over it. The symbols cant be changed to keep comparison with other persons of the same sign possible. All in all the idea is nothing but an attempt to destroy this tool.

    THE ASTROLOGY SIGNS ARE CHANGING. FROM NOW ON MY LIFE WILL BE UNAFFECTED BY AND UNRELATED TO A COMPLETELY NEW SUPERSTITIOUS SIGN.

    I'm going by my original sign I was born under. Suits my personality more. I will only go with this zodiac for babies that are born when this took effect.

    I just noticed I'm on cusp with the new one.. *sigh* or two signs I could go with. Nah I'm still what I was born under.

    I don't like it that my sign has now mysteriously "changed". If they want to change the signs, then why don't we co-op a system with zodiac year patterns similiar to the one used in the Chinese Zodiac.

    Astrology is an interesting science, the ancient societies who developed the science were interested in what contributed to certain personality types, and they observed and theorized that certain patterns of energies crossing with Earth from the Moon, and other planets, and the Sun do effect a person's personality.
