    i'm bi and i can appreciate a good looking straight guy, or a good looking lesbian as attractive, but i can't really feel romantically attracted to anyone i know i don't have a chance with

    I guess...? I've never had this experience, since I generally don't care. If I like someone, I'll tell them. If I find out then that they're straight, then I'll just shrug it of and still behave like an ordinary friend.
