Sorry, don't mean to offend, but are you seriously asking this because you don't know, or just to see people's opinions? If you're just asking for people's opinions and not because you don't know, I'd have to say Hitler because he committed pointless genocide, where as Stalin was more concerned with censorship.
He killed, starved to death whole communities and tossed people in prison for no reason. However, the death Hitler did was more well known. Both men were just as evil using different methods of killing people.
Hitler was a drug addicted panty waist,who had never served in the military.A physically abusive childhood,by his father to the entire family.That was one connecting event in both Stalin,and Hitler's childhood that probably shaped their ego maniacal mentality!

Stalin killed more of his own citizens, purge the army of his best men as he is panaroid about them taking over his place, had his armies stop by the outskirts of Warsaw and not come to the aid of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 and let the German army crush them so that he would not have any opposition and the murder of thousands of German Pows and civilains during and after the war. Hitler is also not far behind.
I don't like this question becuase both the choices are ruthless men who lived in dream worlds. Personally, I think both of those monsters were "victims" of popular thinking in Europe--bias against Jews, trade unions, private companies, and even the military services of those countrys they ruled. It is intresting to note that both men plus Mussolini and Joseph Broz (Tito) all lived in Venna before World War l -they all even when to homeless and lived in the "gutter" of downtown Venna, too.

Stalin killed millions more than Hitler, but those that he killed were mostly his own people. Hitler committed genocide, which is far more terrible and much more evil.
Communism is awesome. The NAZIs and Stalin himself were fascist, but for a utopian society in theory you can't be communism. (In practice i dont know of a case where it hasn't been peverted and corrupted, but theoretically it's the perfect system.)
