For a consort to the queen,at 91, he has been blessed with excellent health, good looks, healthy children, wealth, royal privileges. So he has to accompany his queen on her duties, so what. He is one lucky man. How many of us have a smidgen of what he has?

Normally there is someone behind him making sure he stays on his feet and to insure he doesn't wonder off..........
He is 91 after all.

I've watching the coverage from London just now. and it's just finished, shame about the rain but it hasn't dampened the enthusiasm of people much. I live in Edinburgh and the weather for the Jubilee has been lovely, as is the rest of Scotland. I was out and about today and it was amazing day here in Edinburgh with all the events going on, street parties, live music, pipe bands, singers and performers. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

I'm not much of a Royalist but I've admired Prince Philip and the Queens attitude and resiliency today. Lets hope for better weather tomorrow for the diamond Jubilee concert.
