    I feel sad for those who have to have themselves judged like that. Our society is to blame.

    These people are just sorry, small minded whiners who are looking for a positive word from ANYONE. That's the sad part, they'll take the crumbs from anyones table rather than thinking positively about them selves and doing something positive for them selves.

    I would love to agree but obviously they have self esteem issues as it is, no sense turning them into a raving insecure person by being negative.

    Alot of teenagers and older children are going through an insecure stage in life, asking those kinds of questions in desperation. Some have committed suicide because some have been downright mean in their answer to them. Alot of kids can't see that things will be better once they are adults. I don't think we should add to the suicide rate.

    if u dont want people to give u mean answers then dont ask the question to a bunch of strangers. the internet is cruel. so dont put it out there if u feel insecure. be secure in how u feel about urself. it doesnt matter what others think. especially people who u dont even know and will never meet

    The vast majority of people who ask these kinds of questions are pre-teens and high schoolers-I don't think they should be held to the same test of maturity as people over 18.

    That's why we are proposing to have a policy telling them such questions are inappropriate. That isn't a rejection: it is a gentle reminder to live as an adult and not rely on others opinion of their appearance as a measure of their self worth.
