    It's pretty clever and quirky. It's a bit crass, though. Still, far better than anything on US TV.

    The first couple of seasons were very good but it went downhill after that.

    Incidentally... I worked in Gorton, the part of Manchester where it was filmed. It's nothing like real life... the locals are far worse!

    Just heard about it today. There have been numerous comedies from Britain that I enjoy and especially Doc Martin.
