I've never understood why people would want to jump out of an airplane that was perfectly fine. lol I have gone parasailing but that's over water and not miles above a hard surface.
I haven't but I'm not really sure whether or not I would (if that's indeed a parachute... if it's a hot air balloon, that changes everything). I've heard of too many fatal accidents. In our area, a local newscaster was an avid parachutist. One day someone he was with on a jump had their chute not open, and he helped them get it open, even though it meant his death. What a loss!
I would do it in a heartbeat...first have to finish my flying lessons on learning how to pilot the plane then after that I can learn to jump out of it!
