Yes, and when I finally saw it, it looked just like the photo up top. So cute. Unfortunately, my family didn't share in this feeling of the mouse. To them, it was a rodent that could spread diseases and so, they used typical mouse food poison stuff. It attracts mice because they think it's food and then, they bring it back to their nest or home and die from it. To say I was unhappy that my family killed the mice is a HUGE understatement. I hope the next time we have mice, my family is out of the house for the day and I'm left alone with the mice. Then, I could take care of them MY way, not THEIR way, meaning my family. And, how would I do that? Well, it wouldn't be easy, but what I'd like to do is try and let a mouse run up to my hands (after I put my hands down to the floor) and gently carry it (hoping it doesn't jump off my hands in the process) so I can take it outside and let it go free. If that could work, then I'd repeat the process with the rest of the mice, one at a time, until they're all outside. Very few people like mice in the house. I'm one of those "very few people".

I know it's the same photo as the one up top, but I love it so much. Isn't it cute? And, people hate it when they're living in the same house as we are. True, they can get into the...

I know it's the same photo as the one up top, but I love it so much. Isn't it cute? And, people hate it when they're living in the same house as we are. True, they can get into the food and stuff...and if left untreated, they can possibly spread diseases and...and...okay, I get the point. But, why not let them go outside? Do they always have to be killed?

My cat decided it would be nice to bring me a present (a mouse) and put it on the carpet floor, however the cat and I thought it was dead and when the cat clawed and prodded it ; it zoomed off making my cat jump about 5ft in the air. I have never seen that mouse again but I have a horrid smell coming from the side boards in the lounge... Which I'm hoping isn't a dead mouse.

I used to keep my cats food in a half-bath and sometimes they would just sit there for hours hearing mice between the walls, then, eventually the ~~~smell~~~ would creep out and linger for days, I'd run the fan from both the bathroom and the laundry room until the smell would eventually go away. Eventually I had a "light bulb" moment, moved the food to a different location and never had a mouse in that wall again. DOH!!

Once during Christmas of 2009 and then one last winter. They were looking for a warm place and food. Had to use mice bait to get rid of them, my Cousin did not want to use the bait, but she was worried they might try to bite the baby.

A mouse, rat, rabbit, snake, lizards, two baby possums and about 5 flying squirrels! Our two cats bring many treasures from the woods behind our house. One time it took us two days to get the rat....... He got behind the frig! We got some of that sticky paper stuff, and when he came out for a snack during the night he got stuck on it while nibbling on a bit of peanut butter. My husband had to put it in a bucket with warm water to get him loose.then we let him go.

    It is never ending....... UGH!

Recently my ex had a rat run in the door and hide under the kitchen island. He had to use a rat trap to get it.

More than once in our Bandra (Mumbai) apartment.

Neighbours' cats sometimes dumped parts of mice on our property in Calgary (but never saw any inside the house). I saw one dead mouse on the balcony (no live ones inside or out--but lotsa live squirrels visited that balcony while we lived there) of an Baltimore apartment we lived in (just when we were moving out).

Critter got into the house when the porch door was open and made way under the stove. A pinch of flour on a trap and thirty minutes later he sported a new necklace for the eviction. First and only time a mouse made it into the house. I was like 37 at the time.

I live in the country and no matter how sealed my house is I still get mice. Discovered that if I take up the attic floor and put lots of mouse poison in and then replace the floor I don't see mice. :) Still not sure how they are getting in. :)

I live out in the country and I have problems with field mice, shrews, squirrels, raccons, bears, deer. So a mouse in the house is minor. LOL Oh yea and wild turkeys(they like to eat my vegetable garden)

Haven't had any in my suburban Detroit home.

I have had them in my NYC apartment. Anyone in NYC who says they've never seen one in their apartment is lying! Even with my OCD, they'd still visit. I had always hoped they'd go and tell the others there was nothing worth chewing through the wall for!

Not fun! The traps are an awful mess too! Ughhhh.
