    But hubby bought a Range Rover Discovery - a very old one for $400.00 - looks like scrap heap material but he fixed the engine and works fine. He calls it Disco Dolly!

    Now, now .. those names are the 'terms of endearment' for a vehicle that is broken down on the side of the road .. and should be kept private ... for when they are truly needed!

    Twas only kidding I drive a Toyota . We Toyota lovers are a strange bunch they're like part of the family to us my last one was almost 34 years old with just under 400k when he passed. Poor guy was all rusted out when his ticker quit

    That's why I also purchase brands that are not the traditional .. too many of them have been real lemons .. (they leaked juice even when you looked at them) ..
    ALL my imports have lasted several thousands of miles .. not a problem .. just rust and some cheaper parts ..
    (My Brother/Sis in law have a Toyota now with over 350K miles on it .. still running strong and he's just replaced the exhaust too)

    I had a blue Ford Festiva two door. A blast to drive. Named it 'Blue Blazes'. Bad mistake. It burned up while I was at work.

    My first car I named him Jack after Jack Kelly from Newsies because I was watching the movie when my parents announced they were going to let me keep the car.

    But then the car I have now is named Melody :)
