Its like saying I want to lose weight,but I cannot stop eating Fatty Ice Cream. You can't Lose weight & Eat Fatty Food. That's what an example is for those who want to answer this ?????

I never understood this expression. How can one eat cake without having it first (OR after the fact)?

This trope is right up there with "pull yourself up by your own bootstraps." Last time I tried that I landed on my head!
