I wouldn't know about that. First time I went to a Japanese restaurant I ordered eel. It was super delicious.

..when I lived in Japan, they served squid marinated in soy sauce at bars, to make patrons thirsty so they drink more, like they do here with beer nuts and popcorn in bars...

While stationed in Bamburg Germany a German friend had a Salad with Octopus in it in 1/2 inch bites. THere wasn't any taste to it and it felt like i was chewing rubber gromets

No, my husband and daughter like it but, I just can't bring myself to try it. I know I should try it but the thought of it makes my stomach churn. And there are so many other things that I DO like, I see no need to try to MAKE myself like anything more.
