Yes. Lol actually during English we were standing up and reading poems, and I thought the teacher said my name so I stood up respectfully and started to read my poem. Lol unfortunetly he said the girl's name 2 rows behind me. Yeah so I made a fool of myself in front of the whole class. But at least it hasn't happened since.

it happens all the time! or i wont hear someone say my name so they have to call my name 3 times... but yeah i think i hear my name being called all the time. and if my name is being called and i know who it is and i dont like them i will ignore it untill they run up and are like "hey i was calling your name"....

The worst part? I have a very uncommon name, and as luck would have it, in a class of 14 people, there were two of us, and every time the professor said the name, I assumed she was referring to me! (I had had this professor four other times, and was always the only one with that name, so I just got used to it, but I am sure the other person felt small with us in the same room! Me and my big, pushy mouth!)

I was sick and was the only one in the house and I swore I heard my name.My husband told me that there was a woman who died in his childhood house was either a jilted bride or fiance who's man left her and she died of heartbreak.I believe it is true because my husband and I would fight over stupid stuff and we finally moved.Anyway I think it was her calling my name to keep me from have a happy marriage.

It was just in a regular speaking volume. I looked around and didn't see anyone anywhere. Matter of fact I've had it happen more than once.
