Yep did when I was young and beautiful. I was an uneducated person who saw the glamor and money of wearing beautiful costumes etc... No real regrets but I don't think I would do it if I had to do my life over again. It was fun but not the kind of job you can tell your Grandmother and family about. I hope you do not think bad of me. hat was 30 years ago.

I have been an artist model for many years. I first did it for the University art classes, and the photograph classes. Then later on, I did it for private galleries that had paid art classes. Pretty good pay, and not bad for a 60 year old woman either. Been doing it since I was 18.

Thank you, it has been fun. Yeah, well it's good to know that they are sometime desperate for models of ANY age and shape! lol! And it's harder than it looks. You have to do usually 20 one minute poses. Then you get a 10 minute break, followed by between a 35-45 minute pose. With a 10 minute break somewhere in the middle, then you finish up. They have taped your position, and you try to get back in the same spot for the remainder of the time. Boy, I'm pooped and sometimes achy after that. But $35 dollars an hour is pretty good money. And I get to hang my own art in the gallery for less commission taken out.
