Yes

Once some years ago at a theme park. They had a dolphin show and I was one of the five kids they chose to ride on and swim with them. I do not think that I will ever forget the experience though, it was so much fun and amazing.

I hope you never forget it.....they're truly wonderful creatures. I think they do get a little excitable...they thoroughly enjoy the company of humans when the right vibes are there and it's certainly an experience. I hope I can do it again one day :)

Dolphins have larger cerebrums, which is supposed to be the seat of conscious thought, than humans do. They are fascinating creatures. :)

If we think because of the size of our cerebrums, what does that mean about dolphins? It could mean that they're more intelligent than humans. Interesting to speculate, anyway.

Sure; they are indeed, and also very social and communicative; they have their own language, they have astonishing skills, their inner radar, their great capacity of memorisation, they are kind and helpful; how many of them saved human lifes in the sea, helped fishers to find and catch their fish? I don't think that we can count all the benefits for humans. Even the old Greeks knew about their friendly approach and considered them like divinities.

And never will. Once you watch Dolphin Cove or whatever it's called, you'll never have any desire to support those people and what they do. I won't be a part of innocent dolphins being slaughtered just b/c they don't fit the bill. Swimming with dolphins supports the people who are doing this.

When I was young I used to surf a lot. dolphins and seals (mostly seals).
When I was a kid i got to pet a dolphin and shake a seals flipper at Marine World in Northern California.

In the wild, actually, and they were very nice. Dolphins are very intelligent and I love them. Of course, I didn't touch them or anything, just was near them. Also once when I was very young I went on vacation and swam with dolphins in a captive area.
