I've been debating this person for 3 days and have come to the conclusion nothing more to be said. We can't even agree to disagree, so when I see a reply in my happenings I don't even bother to read it, I just delete.
Have you ever done this.

Jack's Pearl 2012/08/04 13:13:56yes+6It's futile to me to keep going round and round once I've stated everything I have to say. So I stop. I also stop if someone is outright abusive. I have nothing to say to such peeps.

edit: sorry for 'belaboring' a point.....
Rarely, do I hit the more buttons. Generally, if you been in the argument for a while, they are just repeating what they already said.
I've been volleying replies but I think I'm done. There's nothing more to say and in the end I just like to say............you won.....I'm done.
If it becomes insulting, that's when I realise that they are stuck - unable to rebut and too pigheaded to back down - no point pushing it, so I either give them a way to get out gracefully or leave it - depending on how offensive they are being.
