I saw my grandmother after she died when I was five years old. My grandmother died in February 1996, one month before my 5th birthday. However, I remember her playing with me and having conversations with me in August. I remember that one time my grandmother had been playing with me in my room, and my mom came in to tell me that I had been accepted to kindergarten at a local private school, which happened during the summer. She didn't even talk to my grandmother, because she couldn't see her. I also remember telling my grandmother about kindergarten, dressed in my school uniform, even though she wasn't alive then. She never saw me go off to kindergarten. This all happened in the new house my family moved into after she died, which means my grandmother never saw the new house. I've asked my mom many times, and she has told me that she never had the chance to see it. At least, not alive.

She also haunted her house for a while since she died in it. The people who moved in after we sold it complained lights would turn on and off by themselves. We didn't tell them that my grandmother died in the house and there were dead dogs buried in the backyard. That made me wish that we had moved into her house, which we would have if we didn't already buy the new house. I wish I still see her. If it wasn't for this one picture my mom keeps on her dresser of four year old me at a preschool celebration with my grandmother and my mom holding my, at the time, one year old sister, I wouldn't be able to picture what she looked like. I can't even remember the sound of her voice anymore, and that saddens me :/
