This one guy was sooo annoying and kept calling me all the time. It was really creepy because we hadn't even known each other that long. He was coming on way too strong, and I kept thinking " Dude, please chill out and back off." He was acting like I was his girlfriend off of the one time we hung out. Not a pleasant experience.

I do, I do excell at getting out of harsh situations, so I am prepared if said someone is willing to do something with such information.

I'm sure we have all regretted giving out some personal information at one time in our lives… It’s called growing and learning as a person. We all make mistakes.

I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to People I can trust. I am more careful Now.

I regret giving my number out to couple people.

I am pretty guarded about what I disclose to people so I don't too much worry about giving any kind of information that I would regret. But you can't have my date of birth, social security number nor my mother's maiden name!

I gave this one guy my number and ended up regretting it after I found he was annoying.

Oh yes, I totally regretted giving my personal info to two people on here who I
thought were trustworthy and my friends. They apparently were neither.
Mean people will use your personal info against you. You really have to know
a person well enough before you give them your phone # or any of your statistics.
I gave my phone # to someone who I thought was sincere and normal.
I trusted him and in turn he investigated into my personal info because he felt like it.
This person had no respect for me or my privacy to spy on me like that.
I will never trust anyone too easily again with my personal info after that person invaded
my privacy,

I'm a very disclosed person. I have given my no. to one sodahead ever. I'm yet to regret it, or even notice any form of consequence, good, bad or neutral.

I gave my number to a guy at a concert who I had been flirting with, but not talking to. Turns out what I'll consider attractive with mob-mentality and when all the other guys surrounding me are severely over weight and drunk is not so attractive when I come back to my senses. Also, a guy who is fun to smile and wink at in the hopes of a kiss and nothing more is not so fun when he only asks your number and then proceeds to be a complete bore to talk and rather clingy.

That teaches me, no giving numbers away unless I've actually had a conversation and a trusted friend to check my judgment if mob mentality is in play.
