No, not on the Exterior . . . But yes, the whole Interior Walls and Ceiling of an entire House; 3-Bedrooms; 2-Baths . . . My late wife and I did that . . . And then, in recent years, my current wife and I re-painted our 3rd-Bathroom that was an add-on, but was painted by someone else, originally . . .

I enjoyed painting the outside of our house with my husband. I'm glad it doesn't need doing very often as I'd probably get fed up with it if it did lol.

I hated it and I got paint all over myself but my oldest sister had agreed to paint her bosses business and she had already been paid. Trouble is her jerk of a boyfriend backed out at the last minute (after all the money was spent) and so I spend my entire 3 day weekend working my butt off for nada!

And also used the banned toxic wood coal-tar basis preservation chemical creosote to coat the garden fence for a neighbor while at high school during the summer holidays to earn some extra cash.Didnt use a mask,the fingers of the rubber gloves disintegrated as I tried to pull them off,the laces of my sneakers shredded too,ruined my sneakers and stained and burnt the skin on my arms,let alone ruined my trousers and T Shirt.But at least the acquired sun tan hid the brown scar stains until eventually they were gone and the pay was good!.lol.

I've used stain to paint the entire exterior of a cabin. I've used paint on parts of houses, inside and out.

Both inside and out. I have painted our home at least three times outside and about 10 times on the inside in the last 40 years. Of course now that I have hit the senior status age the wife thinks that automatically makes ladders collapse so I have been put out to pasture and we will contract the next paint job.
The truth and even she admits it, I do a better job than the professionals. To me they are too sloppy and in too much of a hurry. Anyone can paint the prep work is what counts.

Not the exterior. All the houses I have lived in have been either granite, flint, or sandstone.
