Have you ever lost a best friend?

yeah i have lost one of my closest best friend

I messed up really bad, I still can't believe I did what I did. I lost an amazing bestfriend, the only one I actually had.

I have lost a few friends but the friendship ran it's course...and I soon made new ones!!...so no lost really!!

she kinda ditched me.......

I've lost some great people from my life, my loss !!

Yes, my best friend from High School, she passed away at the age of 21 from breast cancer.

He died a year ago January. We had been friends over 40 years

Sounds like you lost yours because you have a superiority complex,quite a few people suffer from that disease,other wise known as my SH_ _ doesn't stink.

I make sure I know where they are at all times so that I don't lose or misplace them lol.

it depends on what you mean by "lost" as you get older the friends and people you know slowly dissapear from your world either because they move or, very often, because they die. i am 65 and i have lost a number of friends because they have passed on. i remember the things we did when they were up and about and it does sadden me when i do recall. as we become older we have less and less friends that we once knew because of mortality and, who knows, it might be me next......one never knows. i met a school friend, that i went to school with over 50 years ago, last year after some some 47 years and now we go out filming together but, no doubt, there will come the time when one of us has to bear the sorrow of a good friend and confidant who is no more. when you are young your friends are there always or so it seems and you never once consider the fact that one day some will not be and that one of those may be you........

Not for the shallow reasons that you noted, because real friends would never do that. The only way I've ever lost a real best friend is through death.

Real friends don't stab me in the back. They don't talk bad about me, they don't lie and manipulate and side with enemies who are out for their own agenda. They don't play two sides to the center when they know they're being questioned. All others who do this, I cut them loose, have before, will do it with any more, but a real friend, a real one, is honorable and true, key words, honorable and true.

Yea but karma seems to come back at em last time it happend all our mutual friends which was all of her friends took my side because she would talk bad about me but I didn't do the same just takes time plus if they're gonna backstab u they weren't your friend to begin with.
