and my Son .. Like all silly little boys will do ..
he decided to make basketball a Full contact Sport ..
and found out what it means to have Staples used to close the head wound he got!

Last September I put a grinder through my thumb, went to hospital had a DR fresh off his camel and did my stitches. Just to find out he did them wrong and all had to be cut out and redone by another DR!.... Guess that's what free health care gets u!!!!

Yea i had staples and stitches. A former best friend of mine took a wooden tonto sword to my head when i was trying to stand up for him against his pshycotic whore girlfriend. What amazes me is that all the times we sparred we NEVER cracked, dented, or broke the damn thing. But sure enough it broke into 7 pieces over my head. Im laughing at him the whole time cause it didnt hurt...at least not till the friggin docs got ahold of me. 23 staples and 12 stiches. i still laugh about it sometimes.

A month ago I was washing a glass too vigorously and it exploded in my hand slicing my thumb and knuckle. Had to have stitches. Not fun. Staples, many years ago when I had a major surgery. The removal of the staples was less painful than the removal of the stitches.

When I was a kid the doctor would come to the house and stitch us up after an accident....it was kind of funny to see this old doc with his his satchel of supplies come up the driveway...before he sewed he would accept a shot of whiskey to steady his hand and he would talk about baseball while he sewed....

Sutures twice, once for wisdom tooth surgery and once when I cut my forehead in a fall.

Yep, on more than a few occasions. The worst though was the time my index finger got stuck in a weighted door and the top end got snagged of. They had to shorten the bone to even get the ends near touching so they could sew. Boy was that something...

At my age I have had more than I can count, the most was around 45 stitches Planted my fist through a plate glass window, but that was when I was a problem child many many years ago.

Oh course I have. I even have drawer especially made for injuries because I hurt myself all the time. It's full of leg braces, a first aid kit, and a lot more.

The only time I had stitches when when I got my 4 wisdom teeth removed. I don't remember them coming out being all that painful-a couple of them popped on their own, the others were taken out.

Naa, happened when I yawned and I didn't feel it. My oral surgeon was awesome. Too bad that was about 28 years ago. I get to fear surgery again :(

Had 21 staples across my stomach when I had my daughter (c-section). My son also had his stitches removed this week...
