I've served as a foreman once. We found the lady guilty of drunk driving (she crashed and had a very high BAL).

Another time they dismissed me from the jury -- they shouldn't have!

I was summoned for jury duty, but the case was settled before it went to trial, so I was let off the hook.

yes, murder trial Mr Chin went to work and killed 4 co workers,he was in a mental hospital for years,then declared sane......he got life in jail this time It was interesting!!!!

I've made it as far as the courtroom, watching the quesioning of other prospective jurors. I've never served on a jury, though.

Nope. I've received a lot of those summons...but never had to actually sit on a jury. I wouldn't make a good juror anyway, I would most likely vote not guilty just to spite the prosecution.

I had to be there at like 8:00 in the morning. I show up & I wait & wait & wait & wait then lunch came, the let us go to lunch & had to be back at like 1:00 so I come back check in with the clerk & guess what, I wait & wait & wait & wait 5:00 rolls around & they tell everyone in the room, " If your name hasn't been called then we wont be needing you" It was awful!!!

What if she had not took any tests ? Do you think she would have been convicted ? My experience is it probably wouldn't even go to trial.
