In fact our city and two near cities have an all city garage sale every year. I think it is one way to exchange junk.

Lot of work to set one up and use the whole weekend to sell a few things. I either donate to charities or give away using Freecycle.

Our town has a town wide one annually. Used to be twice a year, but the fall one didn't do as well. SOme people may as well have a store on their lawn. We don't usually have that much.

We've had a couple of yard slaes over the years. They were fun, and we picked up a few hundred dollars from stuff we no longer needed or wanted.

I do every summer to get rid of stuff that I don't use anymore. Whats left over I donate. Sometimes I just donate, but I like selling it too. After all, one mans trash is another's treasure.

Yes, about 5 of them. Our neighborhood association has two every year. It's a lot of work, I don't plan to be in on any more.
