Rugby union. I had captained the school, club and district teams. I had been a club youth section player of the year, been moved up four age groups, been selected for the national camp of excellence and so on and so on.
Then I as diagnosed with a bone marrow disease and I had to give it up. It was very painful

At the piano, mostly classical but I used to play in bars & hotels and for shows. The pay was too intermittant, some months phenominal others sucked monkey nuts. My wife, mother and nan nagged me to get a proper job and I capitulated for a quiet life. I keep promising myself that if I am lucky enough to reach retirement, I will return to the ivories.

I gave up archery due to too much work load. I then gave up being a joiner for college. I now stack shelves at a local supermarket and wonder where everything went wrong. xD

Very tough decision but one I feel I made the right choice in doing.I realize how fortunate I was to be able to do so with the help of 2 wonderful husbands and planning well enough to always have an income of my own

I'm very good at drawing, but with depression, you start to become apathetic towards things you once liked. Up until two weeks ago, I hadn't really drawn for 3 years, except for things like homework. I just started high school and decided to do art because I hope that I can rekindle my interest in it.

I played baseball for like 6 years, but I sucked hardcore so the team was pretty happy when I quit.

two things actually. quit drinking in order to try and straighten my life back out (i use to be good at drinking) and ive sorta been forced to put a hold on spinning weighted poi due to my shoulder having issues. (a possible result of pressing more weight than i should)

I did ballet for 12 years. If I had kept it up I could have been a professional ballerina by now. But I stopped because at the time it was too hard to balance dance classes everyday with school work. I really miss it and hope to take up ballet classes again one day when I get the time and money...
