I used to find money a lot when I was little.
Found a two dollar bill near the corner store when I was seven (we still had those in Canada in '92), a $10 stuck in a bit of ice in the school-yard, a $20 bill in a grocery store... and a number of 5's.
Once I found $100 in 20s in the school-yard, too... but I brought that into the principal.

Yes I have. I found a hundred dollar bill while in the checkout line at Wally World. It was a lucky day for the person that lost it because by deduction I realized who it belonged to and returned it to them. I have found smaller amounts on other occasions where there was no way to know who it belonged to -- then I kept it.

Have not found money, I lost a $20 that I needed to pay for something for my car. That sucked because I know I had $45 in cash and somehow it turned to 25...the guys were nice about it since I had the right dollar amount.

Yes I found a wallet just before Christmas with a lot of cash in it, I traced the owner and returned it to her, she was a single mother and the money was to purchase Christmas gifts for her child. It made me feel very good inside and proud of my upbringing.

Yes! I actually found $20 once. But then there was this little boy who was going around looking for his twenty... so I gave it back. I felt good about what I did ^-^

I have found $5's $10's, and $20's a few times. But I also found a diamond ring in a parking lot. I went to several stores close to where I found it, and asked if anyone had come in looking for it. I put an ad in the newspaper and no one ever claimed it. I worked in a Fine Jewelry store at the time. I wasn't even sure the diamond was real, but when I tested it. Well it sure was. I had the diamond made into another ring that I wore, and I sold the gold setting it was in.

Not really, I once found $60 just lying on the floor in line at a fast food place. I couldn't think of any way to ask who it belonged to, as it would have been easy for anyone to say, 'Oh, yeah! Thanks! That's mine!' when it really wasn't. So I kept it. The rest of the day was just like any other day. Just a little richer. ;)

I have found money many times over the course of my life, but, the oddest occurrence, was when I was in a hurry to get my wife to a doctor's appointment and I forgot my wallet at home.

I was so hungry by the time my wife got out of the doctor that I was sick and I had to drive 35 miles to get back home at that time, my wife looked at me as we where pulling out of the parking lot and said, "I am sorry you are hungry, I wish I had thought to bring some cash.", not even a second later we saw something being pushed along the parking lot by the wind, I pulled over and got out to check and it was a $10 bill. Needless to say we where able to eat and we always reflect back on the odd timing.

I once found a $100 bill in a grocery cart that was bunched with alot of carts outside of this one store. I saw it when I walked by and couldn't believe my eyes. Then another time where I worked at a Pizza Hut restaurant, this video game section we had, after a rush of business there was a $10. bill on the floor next to a game.
After that, no luck.

Fount 20 bucks one sunny day at the library. I went in and asked the clerk if anyone had lost it or asked about it, she said know. So i figured since this was my lucky day. I went to the store and bought lottery tickets and won 80 bucks. What was cool about it was it paid for the alternator that went out in my car;-]
