Yes. When I was little I found $5 when walking and gave it to my Mom, she kept it.
I have never found a very large amount of money, but I have found smaller amounts, and if I can return it that is what I do.
Once I lost my wallet at a Blue Grass festival. I was really upset, but then I was called up to the stage and handed my wallet, with all the money in it. I know how good it feels to be on the receiving end of an honest person.

Kept it to myself.
you do NOT KNOW how badly i wanted to punch him..
Found a two dollar bill near the corner store when I was seven (we still had those in Canada in '92), a $10 stuck in a bit of ice in the school-yard, a $20 bill in a grocery store... and a number of 5's.
Once I found $100 in 20s in the school-yard, too... but I brought that into the principal.
I was so hungry by the time my wife got out of the doctor that I was sick and I had to drive 35 miles to get back home at that time, my wife looked at me as we where pulling out of the parking lot and said, "I am sorry you are hungry, I wish I had thought to bring some cash.", not even a second later we saw something being pushed along the parking lot by the wind, I pulled over and got out to check and it was a $10 bill. Needless to say we where able to eat and we always reflect back on the odd timing.
After that, no luck.
