Have You Ever Dreamed About Flying?

when i was a kid all the time.

I have and I think most people have dreamed of flying.

i dream of flying all the time wierd i thought i was the ony one who dreamed about losing my teeth and of zombies

Yes, and once it was so so real that when I awoke I believed I ACTUALLY did fly. This
feeling lasted for several hours and I was glad I had someone to discuss it with. What's
more, I had this same dream within a month and the same certainty that I had flown on
my own power. It was amazing but alas, it hasn't happened since.

Yes a lot but I hate the part when I fall oh god it turns to a nightmare and screwing my sleep

i've actually never had a "flying dream." falling? yes. losing teeth, yes. but flight? no... lol

Lucid dreams, but for some reason I cant fly all by myself...I need a broomstick. Irony XD

So many times!! It feels so terrific and when I wake up I'm disappointed that it didn't really happen. I also dream that I'm walking but I can leap long distances. That's kinda kewl too.

As I understand it is usually stress relief related.
I used to have dreams of a group of people chasing me, then I would flap my arms & fly away. Now I am being chased in reality, why can't I flap my arms & fly away in reality? dammit! LOL

But whats better is having a lucid dream and CHOOSING to fly.

I have a few times, but it's been years. I usually would try to get a running start then jump up and try to catch some air to get me up and flying. Sometimes it would take 2 or 3 times before I was able to take off. It's a really cool dream ! I've also had quite a few dreams where I could breathe underwater. It always seemed so easy ! I would wake up and it would be a minute or 2 before I realized I was dreaming and couldn't really do it. And I have had dreams where my teeth fall out as well. In one I was a drug addict and my teeth were getting brown and rotten. And a few days ago actually, I dreamed that my bottom teeth were all one piece and one side was coming up and I was afraid I would end up pulling it all off. I think that one was because I have some teeth that need root canals.

It is more like floating. I can feel the ground releasing me gradually and I float very gently up. It doesn't feel like dreaming. I'm glad it is. I suspect it would be very bad PR for Muslims to defy gravity at this point in time.:-) I had alot more flying dreams as a child. I suspect we need to be pretty relaxed to dream of flying.

Always, but I am no pilot, adrenaline junkie, or inventor. Maybe it is my arrogance.

and i had a dream about siting on the top of water just gildeing over the top balenceing my weight it scared me run awayyyyyyyyy :P

Like a kite I pitched my body upwards to avoid a telephone pole then felt my fingers separate as I gained speed,below a crowd gathered to watch.A friend thinks it was an out of body experience but I think it was a gift .

When I was a young girl I dreamed I was within a large rectangular concrete wall. I could fly but was never able to go further than from one end to the other. I so wanted to go further. I believe it was the result of very strick parents who would not let me be me. The dream reoccurred often.

Probably yes, but I cannot remember them. Usually, such dreams were pleasant ones.

When I was young I did have that dream. I also dreamed that I was floating.

I tested whether I was dreaming by having a rising sensation. It was like taking a deep breath, but it would rise up in my upper chest. Upon doing that if I was dreaming I would begin the sensation of flying.
