Happens all the time - my mom looked younger than she was - I was blessed with good genes. It's quite a compliment.

She was. Italian, with those dark eyes, wonderfully thick dark hair.............me, I didn't get any of her coloring, or hair, - my brother did...........go figure. I do tan fairly easy, but even then I don't get the dark coloring - I get more of a golden color, and my natural hair had auburn highlights - from my dad's Scottish mother. Oh, well, I was still blessed with good genes.

wow Italian women are gorgeous.. I look nothing like my mom either, she's Cuban mocha skin color dark curly hair. My lil sister, and bro look like her a lot. My other bro and I look like my dad, he's spanish fair skin very dark hair.. We look like him to a T ;)

My sister looked like my dad's side of the family for years, now she looks a lot like our mom - except for the coloring - she was red-headed like his Scottish family, and my brother looked like mom's side with the dark coloring, etc - and I didn't look like either, and for years I snooped thru everything I could find convinced I was adopted, but my sister swears she remembers mom being pregnant with me, so I guess I wasn't!

Your family sounds like WOW !!!!!!!!!!!
