Back in the 1950's ole Frankie and I built this raft that would make Huck Fin proud. We didn't intend to really put it into the water but, Well you know how 12 and 13 year old boys are. We got it into the river one day and played around by this old bridge that wasn't used and had a ball, then about 3 or 4 days later we put in and started down river and not paying attention where we were going and ended up in town about 10 miles away. Long story short we had to have my dad come and get us, We were not thew most popular 2 boys for a while.

White water rafting is sooooooo much fun. Tennessee is one of my favorite places for that.

I live in Missouri and we have tons of places to raft, especially the ozarks, so I've been rafting many times to fish or just to enjoy the float......

Several times. It was only frightening because I can't swim. What the heck... what's life if you don't experience a little fear once in a while.

I think so... Life jacket... there I said it. When you can't swim a life jacket is not much comfort.

Many times. One too many times as a teen when I drowned and died and had to be brought back from life after getting caught on a log underneath the rapids.

You don't have to be if you wear a lifejacket and even if you are a good swimmer, you are supposed to wear a lifejacket.

Yeah, I went on a 5 day rafting trip and I just got back on Thursday, it was a lot of fun. It was my second time rafting, first time overnight.
