Yes

My foot was broken and it hurt like hell, I wasn't allowed to walk on it, and I had to keep it raised to keep pressure off. So my mom rented a wheel chair to take me to a huge, hilly, museum filled park. People look at you differently when you're in a wheelchair. They put their pity faces on. It definitely opened my eyes.

I am physically disabled for the rest of my life. Long story short, I have a version of arthritis in the hips, that actually fusing my spine. Have been for 12 years. It sucks!

Kinda, I broke my ankle a few years ago, took them 2 months of me hobbling around on crutches before they finally got the diagnosis right. It wasnt much fun!

Out shopping a few weeks ago, kids were playing and one hid behind me, the others rushed for him and I got stuck in the middle.
Down I went.
Nothing broken, but I sustained a 'Universal Sprain' to right wrists, hand, fingers. Brace and splints came on Saturday, now it's just making up for 3 weeks of non-use, but a few more days and it'll all be fine.

Yes. Whenever I walk into a store a become handicap for the time I'm going to be in there so I can use the electronic cars. Haha :D
