Yes I could not stand the long trip with uncomfortable sleeping in the car. my dad and step mom were Going to Texas and we did not spend a whole day there before we had to go back to our state which is more than a day drive away. We were planning on spending a couple of days there but with my step mums work we only spent a couple of hours.

Yes mainly along the east coast of Australia and some inland into the outback. as a mater of fact I will probably be heading inland within the next couple of weeks again. I used to do it in older less reliable cars and a lot less money then I use now though and but that always made it more of an adventure.

We drove from Florida to my wife's home town in Indiana. It was a long trip, but we stopped to sleep in North Georgia and made it a 2 day trip.

Sure have, I met a lot of good people ,saw a lot of nice scenery, ate some fine food and immediately made plans to do it again in the Spring. I highly recommend everyone tries out a road trip

Many. But only one as a vacation I recall. Tobermory. I liked it. I'd also like to go back. See all the sunken ships and stuff again. Perhaps up closer. How fascinating.

It was fun minus the purpose-- funeral! Funerals have cryers and me and cryers... eh not really a good combo cause if I'm near one I don't really know what to do.. it's an awkward moment or me.

My former husband and I used to drive every Summer from California to South Dakota to his family's farm. We'd pack homemade subs and snacks and such and drive a different way each year to explore the Countryside. A fun time...for the first few years....lol

Yes three times but I hated it...
From London to Scotland (takes about 7 hours) three times to visit relatives.
Reason I hated it? I get motion sickness (not in planes or boats though)...
That's the reason we never drove there a fourth time... :P

Well technically my whole life has been kind of a road trip, moving from place to place, always riding long hours in cars and planes, but that sort of traditional holiday road trip with friends? Nope haven't done that yet, planning a road trip around Europe next summer though :-D Looking forward to it, will drive to Russia, then around to Sweden, from Sweden to Denmark, Denmark to Germany and so forth.

well the music wasn't blasting but yeah, I went with my dad a couple times to pick up cars in other states mainly the surrounding states, it was fun too, get out of town for a couple of days. Other then that we were going on vacation.

Over a number of years my husband and I must have made a dozen road trips from Washington State to Texas and Oklahoma, I am so glad I am back in Texas and no longer need to make these round trips. There have been many others road trips, some to Californian, Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming besides the ones to Texas and Oklahoma.
