It happens that people pop up from nowhere, and send messages that make me wonder why they know me that well, although I don't know them. I then know there's a stalker, but the real creepers, the ones who stalk you but never send any messages, I'll never know about, and that's even scarier. I don't get paranoid about it, but it's not nice to feel watched. The fear of cyber stalking, is also one of the reasons why I never post my picture, or my real name, on sites like SH. It's also a good idea to change username, or cancel the account and create a new one instead now and then, to avoid stalkers/creepers.

I can see where this can be very annoying to say the least but try not to let it
anger you. No one is important enough to get you angry. Just report it if they refuse to stop and be done with it. I found the more you respond to these harassers the more they are apt to do it. You are giving them what the want. My personal experience is it is best and sometimes your only choice to just ignore someone. That hurts them more.
Silence is truly golden in some isolated cases. :)

It's always good to be direct but as diplomatic as you can. It's a shortcut

Its one of the reasons I share my age, the other being I am honest and dont mislead people into thinking I'm something I'm not then complain about getting attention,dont get me wrong I have had some very explicit emails out of the clear blue even since my age and pic are on my media.I dont scare easy I laugh it off, its the net after all, isnt that the mantra of most SH "internet phantoms"
If it keeps up I'll be forced to go incognito,lmao!!!

Sometimes out of the blue I'll get a message from someone I never seen before
and they will ask me a question or say something to me that is so far fetched that I can't make out whether they are insane or creeping me out. LoL .. You see all kinds here on SH. I'm a magnet for people and that includes the starved and insecure attention seekers.

Hey girlfriend, mine are not all creepy either just the majority is and
majority rules...LOL . I had the same thing happened to me with invites. Some men are incessant and are so insecure that they cannot take no for an answer. It's good you told him like I had to several times. At least they were warned ! Take care sweetie <3
