LOL, I don't know anymore, she told me she loves me, that we are soulmates, but she doesn't want to communicate with me any more because she's convinced it can't lead anywhere. Women can be so confusing sometimes.

as soon as he mentioned house by a lake with kids I FREAKED. I hadn't really seen him any other way then as a friend but once the genie was out of the bottle, things got weird. He backed off, my bestie who had a thing for him got a little weird too but that eventually went away. He moved out of state & I haven't seen him since. It was kinda one of those things you never knew you had till it was gone. But that was years ago. I'm over it.

Usually for me it's the other way around.

Quite often. I try to be diplomatic about it and tactfull, but some have persisted enough that I had to get harsh..feel bad about that, but I WILL NOT hook up with someone I don't have feelings for. Same has happened to me, but once I know they don't feel the same I just leave them alone..pursuing it just makes me more upset and frustrated!

Yes, I have. But you can't make somebody love you. So we are just very close friends. I really wouldn't have worked out anyway.

Yes, I have. I have known this man for over 10 years now who still pursues me but I am just not interested in him "in that way". It's no secret between us, we have discussed it a few times. Sometimes I wonder if it is just the "chase and challenge" for him. You want what you can't have.

We are no longer friends. I also realized that this person was not such a good friend after all. A friend that only wants to get into my pants is not a friend at all. This person did not respect me, my ideals or my career path. I managed not to tell him that even if I were interested in men I'd never date a conceited loser like him. I used to have fun going out to eat with him, but then I realized that his interest in me was not platonic. I felt more uncomfortable each time, until finally I decided to break off the friendship. I don't regret it, because it was the right thing to do. I can't have people like that in my life.

Quite a few times from 1977 til about 1998. Usually I just enjoyed the ride till I got bored. One time I had to get divorced but usually I just quit answering their calls.
