Have you ever been lost in the woods?

I was not really lost but was mighty confused for a time and ended up 8 miles from where I was suppose to be.

Long time ago, went to Turkey Run in Indiana and we got lost on one of the trails

A fearsome confused for a couple days, but never lost.

Keep walking, you'll find a way out eventually. ;)

I avoid woods

I just consider it being out there longer than planned. I always make it out eventually.

Not for long!

I leave a trail of bread crumbs, DUH!

About 3 hours through brush until i found a path. I was still lost but not worried anymore at that point.

Wouldn`t really say lost, but alone and afraid. I was about 14 years old, I was coming home from a friends house, instead of walking the long way which would have been over a hour walk, I decided to take a short cut through the woods which would of got me home in only 30 minutes. Big mistake, because I judged the time very poorly, the sun was already setting when I left, I thought I had time but half way though I could barely see a thing it was so dark, I didn`t know what direction to take. I had candles in my bag and lit it, but it wouldn`t stay lit and kept going out, I ended up turning around and taking the long away. My neighbor stopped and offered me a drive, I got in and looked down at my hands to see them covered in that candle wax, she must of seen that too, kind of embarrassing.

It's fun! Did it as a child. Scared the bejeezus out of my poor Grandmother,.. But I always found my way out when I was ready to come out.

But only for 1/2 hour!

Nahh, I was always very good at finding my way back home.

I have been temporarily disoriented, however.

Too bad. You cannot explore, without first getting lost.

That's an old saying we had in the Cavalry to describe being lost...temporarily disoriented.
