I was on leave from the Army and a female family member asked me to a bar to buy me a drink. Well to make long story short, the female family member got wasted and her and the guy next to her got into an argument. I had to intervene after the guy grabbed my family member and she produced a knife from her purse.

I went to a small college and played football. The town only had one bar that was 18 and under and it was usually packed on Thursday nights due to everyone going home for the weekend. Anyways, I remember dancing and hearing someone say, "hey Tim is in a fight!" I turn around and a cowboy punches me in the jaw. lmao I hadn't even done anything. Anyways, we went on to tear the place up, not on purpose, but just from all the bodies flying everywhere. It was the local cowboys and the football players.

I abhor physical violence, like quite a few other males.
.
The only time I was trained to fight, well, sort of, was when I served in the military (conscription). It was in fact mostly about obeying orders 24/7.

But as a consumer activist here in France, I have fought myriads of non-violent battles, blocked roads, occupied government buildings, staged sit-in demonstrations, taken part in hundreds of TV and radio debates...

Went in a bar once where the band was in a cage made out of chicken wire. Figured out real quick that I better leave before the chicken wire was necessary.
