Young bald python. It was a friends pet. We were downstairs and I guess with all the ruckus of the other animals (her house is a small zoo. Cockatoo, several cockatiels, 2 dogs + a cat + an enormous fish tank) and being passed around all day, it was irritated and nipped me but it didn't hurt.
A small snake bit me on the little toe . . . I only got a Tetinus Shot for it . . . It was extremely painful, and it left red lines streeeeking up my foot and there was minute-swelling . . . The fang marks were very close together which indicates that the snake was small . . . None of us ever got to see the snake, though. We were swimming in a natural-spring-fed sand-pit on the Texas Gulf Coast. The term is "Skinny-Dipping" . . . Teenage boys (and girls, sometimes) could do that back in the old-days without the danger of "God Knows What!" which now days is much, much worse than any snake-bite from a baby water moccasin.
I grew up in Florida, land of reptiles, and spent my childhood roaming through the orange groves catching snakes, lizards and tortoises. Some of them definitely bit me.
When my iguana was a baby, he would bite me & everyone else. He has calmed down now that he's no longer a baby, no he just hisses at strangers (He's my guard lizard) and cuddles with my dog.
This interesting lizard I was playing with as a child, I was being dumb and holding it by its tail, then I see it's throat expand and turn red then it whipped its head and bit me, I let go out of surprise and it scurried off. It was not painful or anything like that.
My brother had a pet boa constrictor when I was growing up. I tried to take it out of it's cage at a time just after it had eaten (which was a no-no). I got bitten on the back of my hand, which scared me more than it did any damage.
...the snake released it's grip and I was able to place it back in it's cage, with fairly little physical harm done to either of us.
