    Edit: To those who may think me cold or callous....the idiot was flirting with a waitress like crazy. It was justified.

    I consider people's feelings in that case. To bail is classless and rude and also hurtful to the other. That person took time out to be with their date, no matter how bad the date was. Maybe the person was so nervous about being with that person that everything went wrong. Maybe that person turned down another to be with that person. Maybe that person was looking forward all week to be with their date.

    I WOULD NEVER BAIL abruptly like that. Any bad date I had, I was gracious about it.

    Well it wasn't really a date... but I had recently moved to Toronto and didn't know anybody, but my Aunt knew this man named Ryle through some sort of movement group and asked him to show me around. Anyways he was so slimey and creepy and was always coming on to me.. and I didn't want to be rude because my aunt was the type who would get offended at little things.. so I went out with him a couple times, and then one night he took me out Salsa dancing, and a very attractive man asked if we were together and Rylee told him yes... and was just being so creepy, so I told him I had to go to the bathrooom and climbed out the window and left... he didn't stop texting me for like a month after ^.^

    I have had a couple of bad dates, but to bail out in the middle of the date would make me the bad date! I can handle anything for a few hours!

    Never been in that kind of date. Only dates I go on are with my significant other. But even if a date were horrible I wouldn't leave, that's rude.

    I actually paid for the appetizers and cocktails, told him he was welcomed to enjoy dinner, but he would have to pay for it. Things just felt wrong and I didn't see the need to waste either of our time. He was pompous, "me me me" centered and just kinky weird... "I rather be tasting you for dinner" and that sort of crap... I wanted a date... he wanted sex. Instead, he got left at the table.

    I've stuck it out until the end, but wasn't sad when it was over and wasn't sad to not hear from the guy. Guess he wasn't impressed with me, anymore than I was with him.

    No, I just stuck them out until I got home, then didn't go out with that person again. They almost always admitted it was a bad date, and said they knew there would probably not be another date.
