Toured Glacier and Yellowstone NPs back in 1990 while my brother was stationed at Malmstrom. Got to eat at the 7-Up Ranch before it burned down. Best steak on the planet at the time. Last Summer I had a business trip to tiny little Ennis, MT, area.

Just love Montana. So pretty and pristine. Nice people.

I was really really close but I wasn't allowed to take the rent car 2 states away from Minnesota. I was at Mt. Rushmore.

Beautiful Land ..
I went to several wonderful natural spots ..
including following the Lewis-Clark Trail through Montana ..
seeing the state capitol, the cathedrals there ..
the Gates of the Mountains (just glorious)
and other natural beauty ..

Went to Yellowstone and saw many beautiful sights.Moose, the majestic Tetons,but no bears. It was just after the huge forest fire they had back in 1989. Old Faithful was running like clockwork when I went! I got lucky on that!
