Has anyone ever acted like they marked you as their territory when it never went both ways?

No one owns anyone first of all, and second, why do people act like they do when there was no evidence the other person felt the same way about the other party and even if there was indication, what's the deal with the possessive behavior?

This just shows obsession and jealousy when people do this to others.

    My best friend does it. She's possessive. Most of the time I ignore it, until one of my other friends complain. Then I tell her to cut it out, and she stops for the time being.

    Yeah but then she starts up again about an hour later. It gets annoying, and it makes all my other friends upset. I'm honestly not sure what to do.

    Yes. I have people who are hating on me because I want the government to stay out of marriage including same sex marriage. They act like a killed Jesus or something when all I did was speak for myself.

    Honey, this isn't pertaining to haters or political areas. This is merely about people who can't differentiate between love and obsession or reality vs fantasy in which they've invented in their mind. It pertains to all walks of life and both sexes.

    It's more about people who want to have claims to another person where the one doesn't have feelings for them in the same way. It's more of an "unrequited" love sort of thing. Love is not jealous. I don't care how often someone will fight to say it is. It's not. Love is not obsession either. Love is not control. Love is supposed to be pure and "UNselfish". That's it in a nutshell and not in a nut's hell.

    A little jealousy is somewhat normal - I'm talking extreme here.

    Thanks for clearing that up for me. I guess my answer would be that I have never had someone who I didn't care about feel that I was their property! Really I am jsut glad I have never been peed on!
