Harry potter or the hunger games?

I HAVE to say the Hunger Games. Don't get me wrong, Harry Potter is great, but (please don't decapitate me, Harry Potter fans) I think Harry Potter has sort of had its time. The books were really popular, and so were the movies, but I don't think you can compare them, since the Hunger Games (movie) has only been out for 5 months, and Harry Potter's been out for years. It always happens that there comes along a new movie franchise to replace the old ones and be even better, and I think the Hunger Games might be about to replace Harry Potter. It's such a unique and original idea for the plot, and it draws you in straight away. Katniss is a strong, powerful female. (WAY better than Bella!) I like Harry Potter, but I'm not as crazy about it as I used to be. I loved the Hunger Games, though

I Love the books equally! but the movies, Harry Potter is better,(although Josh is super cute ;) i jusst think that the book and movie are too different.)

I'm only saying Harry Potter, because I haven't seen the Hunger Games movie. I read all Harry Potter books, and have seen all the movie. Where as with the Hunger Games, I've only read the book.

Comparing Harry Potter and Hunger Games is like comparing ice cream and pizza. Their both great but are completely different. Really hard to compare the two. But if I had to choose it would be Harry Potter.

hunger games is my next big "thing". i found myself in Katniss, i love the whole powerfull story. and i thank hunger games for being here right now cause harry potter ended and hunger games really helps :p

The books are absolutely amazing! I love them to no end!

Same, first time I read it was 2 years ago... read them in a month and a half, could not put the series down. Since then I have become overly obsessed, but I don't give a damn! I've read the series so many times, I can't even tell you. Rainy day out? Prisoner of Azkaban it is!

Now everything I read I cannot help but think "Well, this certainly is no Harry Potter."

I guess I should have chose both. But I love Harry Potter much, MUCH more so...meh.

I don't like either one. But if I had to choose it would be Harry Potter because they've been around much longer then the hunger games

I have watched all of Harry Potter but I have not watched the Hunger Games.

I never really got into Harry Potter and by the time I even considered reading the books the last movie came out, lol. I like The Hunger Games though. The first book was awesome, the second one was pretty good too, but I never finished the third one 'cause I was kinda disappointed with it.
