I don't know whether or not you are aware of this, but San Francisco and Sydney enjoy official Sister City status. So have a good one, nephew. lol

Sadly I had a stay at home time caring for my 95 year old dad. I did, however, manage to drink a couple of schooners (15 oz) glasses of beautiful Toohey's New lager, a relaxing scotch and a bottle of Wyndham Estate Bin 555 Shiraz. After all that, and watching on the box Van Helsing, without doubt one of the worst movies I've ever seen - I can only think that Hugh Jackman must have been desperate for money to have got involved in such a crock - followed by the Fireworks, I went to sleep in my recliner chair. Then at around 3:30am, some rude woman yelled long and loud enough to awaken me to demand I keep the noise down. I guess I must have been snoring a treat with the lounge room window wide open. The hide of the tart! lol

Same to you, Tim! I'll be in the new year with you in about 16 hours!

Poor Hawaii has to wait the longest to ring in the New Year. Having said that, I would not mind being in Hawaii right now! :)

Happy New Year to Eastern Australia - I guess it'll soon be Perth's turn!
  • Tim Tommy 2011/12/31 23:27:33
Yes, Perth is 3 hours behind Sydney at present, because we have summer time and they refuse to go on to it. Too many farmers over there with their weird concerns about impossible effects on their cows and chickens. lol

Scottish cattle and fowl are comparatively uneducated and would not even know what a clock is!
  • Tim Tommy 2012/01/01 00:03:22
Exactly. And the same goes for Aussie cattle. Sadly WA and Qld farmers are too dumb to know that. Qld doesn't have daylight saving either, which is totally ridiculous because it is now an hour behind NSW and Vic which house Sydney and Melbourne, the two major trading and commercial cities in the land, and it is also an hour behind Tas and and 1.5 hours behind SA. Crazy!
  • Tommy Tim 2012/01/01 01:46:12
Oh that WOULD be confusing!! Even for educated farm animals! ;)

No, it REALLY was a joke - Sydney is the name of the city. :)
