I would just point out ( if you pressed I'm a south paw ) button, , that glove is for a right handed player ,and its just worn on the left hand.

Oh boy! Does a lefty cake go with it?

I can do a couple of things ambidextrously...swing a bat or golf club. But mostly I'm a total lefty.

WOO HOO..I am a southpaw and I just put the meat back in the fridge. My husband and I are going out tonight to celebrate.
The only activity I do right handed is golf. Go figure.

I can remember when I was little, and broke my left arm. The teacher told my mother that I would then become right handed. Nope went right back to my left hand. I guess that gives my age away that people thought they could change which hand you used. I am able to do things with my right hand, but by choice. The world was set up back then for a right handed world.
I have also read where Left handed people had more accidents. I don't know if that's true or not as I haven;t done any research on it.

I am the only left handed one in my family.

How correct you are maggiemay. Do you hook your hand when you write? I don't do that but I think manymany lefties do.

My mother always said that was because they were taught to write by right-handed people who didn't think to adjust the paper placement. Mother taught me to write and she was left-handed, so no hook!

A left-handed friend once told me that God made everyone left-handed to start, then changed those who needed extra help to right-hands to keep up with them. I really liked that one!

I like that also. I got so tired of people asking why I was the only lefty in my family I started using that line to shut them up. Of course back then they thought there was something wrong with you if you were left handed.
I did have problems with teaching my daughter to tie her shoes. The husband had to do that, and my mother finally gave up trying to teach me to Crochet:)

Me too...the shoelace thing. I finally found a little record and the album it was in had big fat shoe laces on the front. The clever little ditty worked!

I learned to knit by propping an instruction book against my stomach and placing a mirror on my lap! Worked!

I've always been told that left handed people were more creative, tended to be artistic... That must be why I drape my bathtowel in such a pretty way... :>)

I'm right handed. My mother is naturally left handed but when she was a child 80 years ago, they made her use her right hand for writing. She still uses her right hand for writing but does everything else as a lefty!

It's a good thing they stopped doing that. It can actually cause communication problems like stuttering etc, cos it messes with the brain.
Catholic nuns and monks used to do it cos "the left hand path" is the path of the devil, and left is "sinister" in Latin.
